Job posting Consulting Associate

First Southwest Company is seeking a consulting associate for our non-profit healthcare group with 3-5 years of experience working in the healthcare sector to assist senior consultants/bankers in the preparation of proposals, presentations, credit and debt capacity analysis, capital planning and long-range financial planning for our non-profit healthcare clients. This position will include significant analytical and communication skills, and a significant interest in strategic financial planning, capital planning, and debt structuring.

* 3-5 years of non-profit healthcare experience including budgeting, business plan development, and long-range financial planning.

* Familiarity with healthcare financial statements, and decision support processes.

* Knowledge of externally developed financial planning software.

* Significant accounting background (through education or experience).

* Considerable quantitative skills.

* CPA preferred, but not required.

* MBA preferred, but not required.

* Exceptional computer and communication skills.

* Microsoft Office proficient including Word, Excel and Powerpoint

*Ability to write clearly, prepare written documents/presentations, and strong verbal skills is required.

*Moderate travel will occur particularly as the individual advances through FirstSouthwest
